Storyline

After her recent breakup, Momo Ayase, a well-liked high school student, decides to help her shy classmate, Ken Takakura, by standing up to the bullies who pick on him. Ken misreads her gesture, thinking he’s found a new friend who shares his fascination with aliens and UFOs. However, Momo actually has her own quirky beliefs about the supernatural; she doesn't believe in aliens at all. This sparks a rivalry as each of them tries to prove their views are right. Even though they start off clashing over their different beliefs, Momo and Ken end up forming a surprising and deep friendship. Their bond strengthens through a series of supernatural challenges and strange experiences with urban legends and mysterious beings. As they discover their own unique abilities, they also learn to help each other with their weaknesses, leading them to question whether their new friendship is about more than just getting by.
